Each 5-member group will work to research a strand-relevant and related topic and create a creative, interactive display illustrating the most current information on the topic and its importance in their respective professional communities. The exhibits will be displayed for staff and the general student population. Students will be present to discuss their exhibits, educate and answer questions about their topic.

Students will create a video that will be 5 to 10 minutes in length. Examples include: weather newscast, interview or skit that is school appropriate, school spirit video etc. The video must include each partner speaking. All members of the team will contribute and participate in the video. You may use others for your video.

Write a five paragraph essay utilizing five paragraph essay structure. Your essay should be typed and in MLA format. Attach this rubric to your essay if your essay is turned in in hard copy format.

Plan: This rubric is designed to supplement the application of readings on short story genres that students must implement into their creative work submissions. Students are expected to meet requirements that exemplify the skills learned in class to create a compelling and well-organized fictional narrative. The rubric is in regards to MLA written forms of English, as well as respecting privacy and copyright law when working with creative works meant for submission.
