Students create a one-page poster that would persuade a colonist to support the Declaration of Independence.

Students will create a business centered on a product they've created that has a recycle component to it. Students will they will present "Shark Tank" style to a "board of investors" who will choose to invest money in the businesses they believe will succeed the most.

Students will create a poem, song lyrics, short story or other writing to share with the class. This writing is to be original for this project. Timing should be longer than one minute, and should not exceed 10 minutes.

You and your partner will research a multinational business with local headquarters (Lancaster County). Your research will examine that company's business and its practices, particularly in regard to diversity and inclusion, and how it became a multinational company.

Using Adobe Spark Page, you will create a playlist of songs that would have significance for two characters: one from The Hustler, and one from The Color of Money. In addition to this playlist of songs, you must include the lyrics that pertain to the two characters, along with an explanation of why the lyrics fit them both. Students are creating a project based on the TV Show 'Shark Tank'. Students will be utilizing technology, their prior knowledge, and research to complete this project. This project also covers an array of persuasive techniques, proportion, percent, and data analysis. They will be presenting their projects in front of a panel of "Sharks" just as in the show. This panel will be grading the projects based on the following rubric.

Create a parody

Students will analyze the 1930's era in England. They will dress for high tea and behave with appropriate etiquette. During this time, they will engage in an escape room puzzle to solve the mystery of And Then There Were None.

Using a digital platform of your choice, you will create a playlist of 3 songs for two of the characters from The Taming of the Shrew. You must include a link to the lyrics, along with a 1-paragraph explanation of how the song pertains to the character. You will also include two songs that would be significant to both characters along with the links and synopsis of significance.

This rubric is designed to grade the work that students design and create on their own to show how they have learned the materials in any given unit.
