Sewing Project - Finished Quilt (used with separate evaluation of quilt top)

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Sewing Project - Quilt Top

In specific groups, students will create a 1 minute commercial using the Movie Maker Program. Your commercial must be a story line production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product. You must have video, music and audio. A written script must accompany your presentation. Good Luck, and have fun!

Students must correctly sew a two, four, and shank button onto their test fabric.

This rubric will evaluate the participation of a student based on participation, preparedness, behavior, attitude, respect, and homework in the Math class.

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your powerpoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

This rubric will measure the abilities of students to thread a sewing machine and bobbin, use the sewing machine properly and complete a sewing project.
