Write a 2-5 page essay following the prompt given. Use the writing techniques we have studied in class, and follow a narrative progression including exposition, conflict, climax, and resolution. Type or neatly hand write your first draft. Self-grade your writing on this rubric and hand in with your first draft. Hand in rubric and first draft with your final draft.

Student will include the title in quotes and author. Within the summary, students will use a topic sentence that cites the story title and author. The summary should include the main characters, the conflict and resolution, and a summary of the plot.

Students will be scored on their ability to chose a character from a story read, how the character and student interact, how they portray their actions and thoughts, identify events, problem/solutions, character traits, and probable alternate story endings. Students' writing must be consistent with that character's beliefs, actions, and personality from the story they had read.

Create a POSTER to advertise your "movie"(book). Be creative, colorful, include a title, pictures, movie times, movie ratings AVOID: Do NOT copy the Book's cover. Also avoid, sloppy picture and lettering, colors that do not work together, late work and lack of effort.
