Using a masterpiece of a Hispanic artist Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, Fernando Botero, Francisco Goya, Diego Rivera, Diego Velasquez), students will recreate one of their works. While recreating their art piece they will still be using the personal style of the assigned artist.

Spanish Poetry Project #1: Select a poem of 10 lines or more from a Hispanic poet. You must recite the whole poem; you are not allowed to recite just the first 10 lines of a poem.

Rubric for Lip Sync performance

The students will recreate their favorite landmark from the information they have learned about their specific site. The model landmarks will be three dimensional.

In your group, you will be creating an original dance routine to a song of your group’s choice. The routine needs to be creative, be at least 2 minutes long, include 6 different moves, and include everyone in the group. Each group is given two options on how to present their dance to the class- 1. Perform the dance "live" and then teach it to the class; or 2. Make a music/dance video of the performance and share it with the class.
