Oral History Interview/ Report

Students are to take a position on any issue, and defend/support that position.

Construct a resume based upon a future job that you would like to prepare for or construct a resume based on a current job that you are trying to obtain and prepare a Cover Letter to accompany your resume. You may use the Internet or Newspapers to apply for jobs.

Autobiography of student's life or a part of student's life.

This is an assessment of a science portfolio that students will have created over the entire year. Each individual assignment will have already been marked so this is an assessment of the portfolio as a whole. Both the teacher and the student will mark the portfolio according to this rubric.

This rubric serves as a resource for school administrators when evaluating instructor unit plans. You will write 1 unit plan, Power Point presentation to introduce the unit, 3 lesson plans (one of therse lessons will be a lesson with a technology piece) and a grading rubric for one of your lessons within the unit of study.

Students will use bookmarks to discuss their novel and create a podcast around the novel. The podcast recording will be used to evaluate the group's discussion

The students will work to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to their assigned Composer. Students will collect pictures and other artifacts for their poster to create a creative and colorful poster. The poster will be designed on a single sheet of poster paper no larger than 22"x 28".

You will plan and deliver a lesson presentation related to a comprehension strategy. The purpose of the assignment is to show how you will apply the material read to a classroom situation. All students will develop their presentation with the same CCSS anchor standard and then focus on their chosen grade level ELA standard.

Students are expected to complete the assigned reading and come to class fully prepared to discuss and critically analyze the reading material. Each class member is responsible for finding answers to questions that arise to enhance her/his own learning.
