This rubric is for a U.S. History research project based on the History of African Americans and the White House. This project is comprised of a presentation given by groups of 2 students. Each group is responsible for creating a Power Point Presentation including a bibliography slide.

Research a city in ancient India or during the Harappan Civilization. Recreate a scale model of your city. Cities must be historically accurate and the model must be accurate in detail. All geographical and physical features must be labeled and side panels must include appropriate information.

Students will build a webpage detailing the full structure of the Louisiana system of Government. Website includes a bibliography page with at least 3 sources.

Students will create a antebellum era advertisement using persuasive details, vivid adjectives, and their background knowledge about the era in history. Advertisement should be for an original product (in other words, don't draw an ad for the latest Nike style...). Choose HOW you want to market it and WHO you want to sell it to. Decide how best you can persuade those buyers to purchase your product.
