Students will know homework expectations which would include completeness, accuracy, requirements, legibility and time management.

Write a 4-paragraph essay explaining what you are thankful for and why you are thankful for those things. Each paragraph must have at least 4 sentences.

Assignment: 1. Research one sport (i.e. football, basketball, soccer, etc…) and write about the history of that sport. 2. Find pictures of famous athletes that have played that sport. 3. Combine the sport history and the pictures on a poster board. (Make it nice, neat and colorful!) 4. Turn it in on Tuesday February 19, 2008 *Make a cut-out picture of what your Jersey would look like for extra credit.*

Assignment: Research 2 (one republican and one democratic) presidential election candidates. Then create a poster board. On your poster board include the answers to the questions below. Feel free to include any other information that is interesting to you about the candidate.

Assignment: 1. Find pictures of different fashion styles 2. Put them together in a book; paste the pics onto plain white or colored paper and staple it together. (Make sure that it has a presentable cover that represents you well) 3. Write a brief description of each outfit under each picture (i.e. this model is wearing a red shirt by Calvin Klein, red and white pants by DKNY, a hat by DKNY and earrings from the JLO collection. 4. Make your own styles, be creative, you make sketch SOME of the outfits and color them 5. Turn it on Tuesday February 19, 2008.

1. Research one biblical character using an encyclopedia (you can use any online encyclopedia as well) 2. Plan out your paper structure deciding what you are going to talk about. 3. Follow the instructions on pg. 73 in your Language book. 4. Be prepared on Jan. 8th to give your report.
