Slides are to include accurate information and pictures. Student must present information & power point presentation to the class. Information must be in depth; student will give appropriate credit to where information was gathered - NO PLAGIARISM. Must be STUDENT ORIGINAL. References must be listed in APA format on the reference slide. The power point should have speaker notes that correlate to the written work submitted.

Persuasion is writing or speaking that tries to convince people to agree with a writer's perspective. Write a persuasive letter about something that really matters to you.

Students will create their own brochure, using the elements of persuasion, and their appeals of logic, opinion and emotion.

Students will create a magazine advertisement using persuasive details and emotional appeals; complete with logo and slogan. Students also will provide a reflection, stating their emotional appeals and how the product came to be. Advertisement should be for an original product (in other words, don't draw an ad for the latest Nike style...). Choose HOW you want to market it and WHO you want to sell it to. Decide how best you can persuade those buyers to purchase your product.
