This rubric will assess your Algebra II Interactive Notebook. Your notebook will be collected at the end of each unit and graded according to the following 3 criteria using 5 levels.

End of the year geometry project using 20 vocabulary words.

Using compass constructions to create a poster of the Pythagorean Spiral. The result needs to be colored/creatively decorated. Calculations to be done on a separate sheet.

Students will create, characterize, and graph a polynomial function that reflects them.

Students will use a rational function to create an 8" x 8" colored tile.

7.G.11 Solve problems involving scale drawings of geometric figures, including computing actual lengths and areas from a scale drawing and reproducing a scale drawing at a different scale. Students will develop a project using their knowledge of scale and proportion as well as scale factor, scale drawings and three-dimensional shapes to create a model based based on a picture that they have selected.

Cody lives in Oro Valley and commutes to work at the University of Arizona every day. He has a social life outside of work, but not a very lively one. He drives a 2005 Toyota Camry, which has a fuel economy rating of 21 MPG city, 31 MPG highway. About how much money would he save per year on gas if he switched immediately to a 2012 Toyota Prius, which has a fuel economy rating of 44 MPG city, 40 MPG highway?

Students will calculate the surface area of their walls and floor, and research the cost to paint the walls, and cover the floor.

Evaluate each student's cooperative group skills and task performance and enter a rating for each group work responsibility. Circle the number that best fits their performance.
