SkillsUSA Nail Technology Acrylic Forms Nail Enhancement

After instruction, the student will perform an acrylic nail tip enhancement and application on two fingers according to Milady standard textbook guidelines and teacher instruction.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Evaluate each student's cooperative group skills and task performance and enter a rating for each group work responsibility. Circle the number that best fits their performance.

Each member of the group will be able to grade the other members based on the participation and cooperation contributed to the group.

Each member of the group will be graded based on their participation and cooperation contributed to the Project Adventure/Ropes Course group activities. In the boxes provided, write the name of each group member in the box that best describes his or her ability to work successfully in the group - from your POV only. Grade each member of your group for each category (4).

Grade 7 & 8 box assesment, not a total of each section , but an additive grading process, the more you do the more you get!

The Veterinary Technology Department at NCTA builds its rubrics to guide students and instructors on course expectations and intended outcomes. Rubrics provide a point of reference that measure students' work and provide a collaborative starting point for faculty and the student. Each instructor evaluates a student's performance based on a full range of criteria that is tied to the University of Nebraska goals and NCTA values. The NCTA Veterinary Technology department utilizes five rubrics as a guidelines for instructors to evaluate and provide feedback on student learning outcomes.
