Students will do a current self-assessment of their overall health, including their physical, mental/emotional, and social health. Students will critique their triangle. Discuss your wellness in each area explaining what why you are at that level of wellness. Include a goal to improve yourself in each area. Part 1 -a written, in essay form (3 paragraph minimum), Part 2- a "triangle" visual. The visual should represent YOU, it may have words, pictures, etc to demonstrate your health.

The student will choose a location and predict what would happen if people were no longer here. How would the ecosystem change and adapt? Focus on keystone species, invasive species, succession and population growth. Use the following inquiry question to help guide your paper. 1. Pick a location – city, ecosystem, state, etc.. 2. Which organisms do you think will survive and flourish? Which will die out? 3. What will their population growth look like? (TIME) 4. What type of succession would you see? Describe the process. Will it become a different ecosystem? 5. What would be your keystone species? Why? 6. Are there any invasive species that will now have a greater impact on your ecosystem? How and Why?

Students work in groups to write and perform a skit about decision making and "life skills" The skit must contain 2 scenes: a situation where a poor decision was made and the same situation where a better decision is made. Choices must be clear. A narrator may be used. All members of the groups must have at least 2 complete lines.
