Assessment rubric for the role play "My origins, my heritage". 7th grade students learnt aspects related to the history of our origins. For this project, students will work in groups of five and will take their knowledge on the historical passage they want to perform (repetitions are not allowed). The role plays must evidence decorative aspects, but the most important, their scripts must contain the linguistic and content knowledge presented in class. This is a project meant to not only see how students perceive history, but to also to check their use of simple and past tense. This project is worth 100 points and is due to May 10th.

Assessment rubric for the model scale of “My part of the universe”. 5th grade students learnt aspects related to the planets and other objects in the universe. For this project, students will take their knowledge of the solar system to create a 3 dimensional model of a planet or any other universe part they want to explain (repetitions are not allowed). The models should be relatively proportioned between them. The planets and other objects should be clearly labelled. This is a project meant to not only see how students view the solar system, but to also to check their use of comparatives and superlatives, and showcase their creativity. Students are encouraged to use colour and to get creative while learning. This project is worth 100 points and is due to June 6th. Each student will have to present their project to the class using comparative and superlative statements, so they should come prepared to explain facts about their 3-D universe part mode.

This rubric is to evaluate the group and individual participation and contribution to the creation of an informative wiki site on an assigned topic in the subject of English. The topic should be comprehensively researched and the wiki should illustrate a collective learning environment with a multimedia approach to disemminating lessons learned on the assigned topic and a concluding summarization of the findings from the group research efforts.
