4 rubric "The Crucible" Oral Presentation       popup preview
Students should research their favorite character from "The Crucible" online. We will have time in class to do this. They will prepare a 3-5 minute oral presentation on this character, including any background information he or she can find on the character. They should describe the character from the play and also (if applicable), they should research the real life person this character was based on and talk about the similarities and differences between both. The character's significance in the play must also be discussed. They must also create a visual to go along with their presentation; this can be a number of things, including (but not limited to) a poster, PowerPoint presentation, drawing and diorama. The visual should have information about the character ("Fun facts") and also a picture of the character (you may draw one or find it online). The student should take time to make this visual "appealing" and well done.
