Questions: At any point you have questions or comments I encourage you to contact me. Having taken online classes myself, I know it isn’t easy to ask questions. What I’ve learned from an instructor’s role is that if one person has a question, chances are likely that someone else does too. Asking the question helps me to improve the course for others and gives me some feedback about how things are going.

Instructor Background: I graduated from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse with a degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in Reading. I had the wonderful opportunity to teach 5th and 6th grade in Viroqua, Wisconsin for 9 years. After leaving Viroqua in 2000, I moved to La Crosse and began teaching at Western Technical College in the Instructional Assistant program. I currently live in Des Moines, Iowa with my fiancé, Ward. Teaching online has been a wonderful way to continue working at Western in a program that I truly believe in.
