English 101 is the first English class I've taken in college. My teacher for English 101 is Dr. Norcross. So far in class we have written three essay and had a mid-term final. Another thing we do in English 101 is write journal entry. This is when we read an essay and tell our responses to the essay. This helps you learn how to free write. English 101 is a helpful class when learning to write essays and when you're learning to cite work. We also learn how to cite sources. Also in English 101, you will learn how to use different forms of techniques to form our essays. Our class also proofreads each others essays so we learn how to work together. We also have reading every night on different things in our books, such as how to cite sources and how to brainstorm. We have one more essay for this class and then the final.

My argument essay was the hardest essay that I've had to write so far in my college experiment. I had to write this argument paper on anything to do with human rights. I decided my essay to be on the legalization of marijuana. I wish I would have taken more time to decide on my topic. This topic is weak. For the argument essay, the class had to research their topics so we learned how to properly cite sources. I put a total amount of about ten hours into this paper and still only made a D. My teacher said that I should have had a better introduction paragraph and that my paragraphs were not as organized as they could be. She also said that overall I had very good detail to the paper. I bought the paper to the Writing Center to proofread, however I could have bought it the to the teacher more to get a better grade on this paper. I could have done much better on this paper.

 This picture is very colorful and flowing. The main focus in this picture is the eye in the middle. The eye is pink, yellow, and a light green. If you look closer you will notice that there is a drawing of a flower in the middle of the eye. The flowers surrounding the top of the eye are diffenet shades of pink and orange and curving, with green stems connecting the eye to the flowers.  Under the eye it reads Eyes of the World, with a drawing of the earth by the writing. The painting is done with water colors. The background of this picture is plain white. I got this picture in Savannah on River Street for twenty dollars. The painter was a young woman and her name is Ryann Christopher Mundy.

This image represents me because you don't really understand the painting at first but it catches your eye. The more time you sent looking and studying the painting the more you understand it. A lot of this young woman’s pictures were of different eyes. I believe she drew eyes because everyone looks at the world though different eyes and different walks of life. Also that is why under the eye it says Eyes of the World. And I understand most ways that people look at the world and it would help the earth more if more people took the time to look at something though other peoples' eyes. The flowers in the background explain me also because there are different looking flowers then most you see in paintings and I tend to figure things out and do my own thing, which most people find odd at first. And at first glace these flowers look odd.Then once you take your time and really look at the flowers you realize that the flowers are peculiar but also interesting, which I believe is also like me.
