In Sociology 101 you learn how to think like a sociologists by using the sociological perspective. You learn how the three main theories of sociology are different and what the three main theories are. Sociology 101 can be a diffcult class if you do not study hard every day. When debating to take Sociology 101 or not you must first make sure that the information is instersing to you, if it is not you will have a hard time studying the material every day. In my Sociology 101 class, we take four tests and five essays, not including the final. On each essay, you can only make a 3,7, or 10. So if you do not work hard on your essay it is easy to fall behind in class.

In order to well on this essay in Sociology 101 I had to prepare myself with lots of time to revise my papers. Also my teacher will proofread the students' papers if you turn in your draft with two days before the final copy is due. However, I failed to do that with this essay so I got a lower grade on it. I learned to start my papers early so I have time to revise, bring the paper to the teacher, and also to take the paper to the Writing Center for them to proofread. Also when writing this essay I learned how to analyze a quote from a sociological perspective. But I didn't read the full question for the essay so I didn't explain how the quote relates to my life. The comment my teacher made on my paper was that I could have done a lot better, which I knew. My motivation was lacking, so after getting my grade back on this paper, which was a 3, I gained back my motivation to do good.
