Research paper
Research the approved topic. Submit one 4-6 page typed paper, double spaced, 12 point font following APA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 6 resources used researching the paper. (use quotes from 5) Sources should include a news paper, 2 professional journals, your text and two other books. Quotes can not be more than 5 lines. You are encouraged to interject your personal opinion into this paper.

Earth Day
Design a service learning project that can be used to celebrate Earth Day. The project proposal should include the 5 W's and H of the project: Who is benefitted from the project? Why? How will the project happen? When will the project be done? What is needed for the project? Where are you providing the service? The project should consider how to have the largest, sustainable or perpetual impact, on the environment. Projects must be completed for credit. See rubric for detailed grading criteria.

Scrap book
Think about all the kinds of mementos you would put in a scrap book if you had one. Create a scrap book for your four categories. Include a title page, and four topic sections with two pages each. Throughout the unit we will be doing research on your topics, so you will be expected to write one paragraph (250 words) on each of your four topics. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
