The students will understand the process of a scientific experiment and reproduce it and report on it. Water Cycle Experiment	Developing The student had difficulty following directions and making predictions.	Adequate The student followed directions for the most part and was successful in atlease 2/4 of the phases.	Outstanding The student followed directions and was able to reproduce all four parts of the cycle.
Group Work	Developing The student had difficulty working effectively in a group. The division of labor was unequal.	Adequate The student was able to work in a group, but was not always a full player.	Outstanding The student worked well in the group and there was a strong and fair division of labor..they worked as a team.
Report Writing	Developing The student displayed a lack of knowledge and understanding about the water cycle and it's phases.	Adequate The student displayed an understanding of the water cycle and it's phases, but is unclear about 1-2 of it's functions.	Outstanding The student clearly understands the water cycle and it's phases and can reproduce these phases easily through written or spoken word.
