Oral communication takes many forms. This rubric is specifically designed to evaluate oral presentations of a single speaker at a time and is best applied to live or video-recorded presentations. For panel presentations or group presentations, it is recommended that each speaker be evaluated separately. This rubric best applies to presentations of sufficient length such that a central message is conveyed, supported by one or more forms of supporting materials and includes a purposeful organization. An oral answer to a single question not designed to be structured into a presentation does not readily apply to this rubric.

Creating and Presenting: apply the creative process to dramatic play and process drama, using the elements and conventions of drama to communicate feelings, ideas, and stories using the Bullying Concepts found in the Cinderella skits.

Students will create one of the following: 2 paragraph explanation, a cartoon, comic strip, or a mini poster describing a source of stress, how it affects them, and ways to deal with that stressor.

Students will create one of the following: a comic strip, or a mini poster describing a source of stress and identifying the emotional response to the stressor, present a coping method and identifying the resulting emotion that results.

Students will be in groups and create a group game that the whole class or a small group can play. Grade 6- Cooperative Game which showcases working together to succeed as team, while showing sportsmanship and safety

Students will be assessed on their overall ability of skills and attitude toward the game of soccer. Students will be assessed on their performance and sportsmanship.

Students were to take a black and white photograph of themselves using Photobooth (regular and comic book style). They are to use mixed media forms to alter the picture once it is printed. Students must create 4 different photo sections using paper, ink, paint and collage. Students were asked to explain how the colours changed the impact of the picture.
