This Rubric will assess your performance in bringing together research and designing a poster depicting the routes that the explorers travelled to within Australia. Included in this project will be biographies of the individual explorers, especially the reasons behind their explorations and their noted achievements. A bibliography is to be included. A poster with detailed information on the route taken is to be included.

Students are to create a timeline (can be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, etc) concerning important events in history from the Era of Exploration through the American Revolutionary War. There should be no less than 5 items on the timeline. Students are to include pictures that they believe represent the events on their timeline (you can either cut & paste or draw or trace pictures). The timeline is due Thursday, December 19,2013.

Students will use biographical information from the course and research to create a profile. Students will also create status and wall posts, they will also use other historical figures to comment on the page appropriately. The information inputted should be based on research and should include the personal information, qualities, and contribution of the historical figure.
