An Electronic Portfolio
By Meg Ranido, PPDPT student
In every course in the Postprofessional Doctor of Physical Therapy program, I have come to understand my profession on a deeper level and have become more confident as a therapist in daily practice. I am able to see my patient not only in the context of his/her illness but also in their role as family members and members of society. I can say that I am a better physical therapist now than before I started the program. As I continue to evolve and apply to practice what I have learned, I promote the physical therapy profession as the clinicians of choice for the examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention of dysfunction in movement as well the promotion of physical fitness and well-being.
