In Clinical Medicine (PPDPT 1608) and Clinical Decision-Making (PPDPT 1603), we studied several disablement models, including the World Health Organization's International Classification of Impairments, Disabilities, and Handicaps (ICIDH) model, the Nagi model, and the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research Classification model.  We learned that the Guide to Physical Therapist Practice utilizes terminology derived from the Nagi model and thus applied these definitions as we used the Guide in case studies throughout the program.
