 experience in a first grade class where I created and implemented lesson plans according to    the curriculum and worked closely with my cooperating teacher. I also was attending monthly Writers’ Workshop Professional Development meetings.

 

September 2004- June 2005: Fairmount School, Hackensack. I held a long-term  substitute position for a first grade class.  Administered assessment tests, D.R.A.

& DIBELS; created and implemented lesson plans according to the curriculum, worked

closely with staff members and parents, attending monthly teachers workshops and staff meetings.

 

                                           January 2002- present: Fairmount School, Hackensack.  Substitute teacher for long and                                                                                 short- term positions, Pre-K-4 & MD 2-4.

 

 July 2001-March 1995 & November 1992- September 1990- The Forum School in Waldwick, NJ as a Teacher’s assistant with special needs children ages  6-10.  Summer School Teacher developed and implemented lessons according to the summer theme and in connection with the child’s individual I.E.P.
