Students will select two birds and conduct research on both birds. They will design a presentation to aid them when sharing the traits of their birds. The presentation should tell about where their animal lives, what their animal eats, what their animal looks like, what special adaptations allow the animal to survive in it's native habitat, and any other interesting facts. They should also include what behavior the birds exhibit and their origin story.

Styrofoam Printmaking with Grid Drawing

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Google Slide presentation project.

The students will work to put together a slide displaying information on the influential person of their choice.

The student will create a slideshow presentation on the biography of a famous artist, find one of his/her works of art, discuss facts about the work, and explain the style the artist was famous for.

You are to write a 1 page essay summarizing: 1. The 5 food groups, and what they consist of 2. how nutrition positively or negatively affects your performance 3. how you plan on living an active and healthy lifestyle throughout your life

Students will create a fictional "Instagram" page. Students will have to demonstrate extended depths of knowledge and will include: friends of their character (selecting both characters from the story and extending into history, other literary texts etc.); provide status updates that chronologically depict a timeline of events from the novel; use quotes from the text and commentary to facilitate inter-character communication; and use graphics, pictures with captions

After reading a 5 paragraph, short story, the student must identify the following elements of the story; introduction, rising actions, climax, falling action, theme and resolution.
