Forms were created mostly by adult assistance. Base is not completly covered. Left a mess.

Forms were created with much assistance. Used materials appropriately. The piñata only has one layer of paper mache applied. Cleaned up some.

Forms were created with some assistance. The piñata has two layers of paper mache applied. Some spots are soft. Cleaned up area.
Excels Expectation
Forms were created with very little assistance. The piñata has three of more layers of paper mache with the third layer white. It is not soft in any spots. Cleaned up on time.

Forms were painted untidily and incompletely paper still showing through and/ or no creativity was used. Left a mess

Forms were patially painted and paper still showing and/or lines are sloppy. Not much thought was put into the design. Cleaned up some.

Forms were mostly painted neatly and lines are neat and paper covered could use inmprovment on neat edges. Cleaned area.
Excels Expectation
Forms were painted neatly and completely, no paper is showing though and neat lines. Cleaned up on time.

Did not relate to the theme. Finishing touches project was not completed and hanger nor opening were added. Left a mess.

Finishing touches project were incomplete or messy or it did not relate to the theme. Streamers were not secure. Opening or hanger in in appropriate place but will not hold 5 pounds. Some clean-up

Finishing touches related to the theme and were completed but were rushed and sloppy. Hanger and opening are messy but will hold 5 pounds. Cleaned area.
Excels Expectation
Finishing touches were appealing and related to the theme. Hanger holds more than 5 pounds. Opening is unnoticeable after it is closed. Cleaned up on time.

The student is almost always on task in the studio, follows the directions for the project the first time they are given, and cleansup their work area in a timely fashion. Reliable and responsible as a team member.
