Learning about Lines
Learning about Lines
Students will identify different qualities of lines in artworks and in their world. They will learn directional lines (vertical, diagonal, horizontal) and expressive lines (zigzag, looping, spiral, dotted, curvy, jagged, cross-hatched, wavy, broken, etc.). Students will use a variety of lines to create an abstract design.

The student finished work, but it lacks finishing touches or could be improved upon with effort. Student showed proper care and respect of materials.
Exceeds Expectations
The student finished work and gave an effort beyond the requirements of the project. Materials were properly cared for and respected.
