Personal Exercise Plan - F.I.T.T. Principle
Students will apply the F.I.T.T. principle to their own lives based on their fitness levels and abilities in order to create a personalized exercise plan. Students will be assessed based on their ability to create a 30-day personalized exercise plan based on the F.I.T.T. principle. They will also be required to justify their exercise plan based on an explanation of their physical abilities and fitness level, via class presentation.

Exercise Demonstration
There are many different types and methods of exercise. According to the Canada Health Guide, it is important for adults to participate in 30-90 minutes of activity per day. In pairs or individually, you will lead the class through a 20-25 minute physical activity. Keep in mind different abilities of your classmates. The main purpose of this assignment is to showcase the diversity of exercises available. Be creative!

Special Populations Project
SWBAT design and implement an exercise program for a client who has special needs (student role playing) by describing in writing the general characteristics (symptoms, causes, etc), the relationship to exercise, and exercise guidelines. Students will each take turns being the trainer and special needs client by training based on the ACE recommended guidelines and applying FITTE/FIRST cardio and strength principles.
