This is a final project for Spanish class. You will be writing a children's book in spanish using the vocabulary you have learned so far. The book must be 10 pages long and have 1 sentence per page. Each page must be illustrated in color. The book must have a cover with a title and author.

Students will research an animal and a habitat.. They will describe the animal as well as the habitat. A habitat mobile will be made and presented to the class in Spanish.

Students will create a powerpoint presentation about Spanish Speaking Countries and how they celebrate Christmas and dia de Reyes in a Spanish speaking country. Follow the guidelines given in Echo. You must include 10 to 12 frames with the last frame being your works cited.

You are creating a menu for a new Hispanic. You must give your restaurant a name (in Spanish) and create the menu entirely in Spanish. You must create the menu keeping one specific country in mind.

This rubric is designed for a group presentation project in which groups will be presenting a skit in Spanish. The skit is based off of a situation that could occur in the American society. Students should use vocabulary and grammar that they have already learned. The creativity is up to them to decide the rest! The students are being graded both individually and as a group. The skit should be video taped prior to the presentation.

Students will create a "Spanish video" that will be 3-4 minutes in length. Topic: Daily routines. The production of this video will have two steps. Step 1: Film your daily routines (act out, but do not do the talking). You have to present between 8-10 routine verbs. The class will be editing videos on Wednesday Jan 23. Step 2: After the filming you will have to write a script in which you describe what your partner is doing (you will describe your partner's routine and he/she will describe yours). This script is due on Tuesday, Jan 22 (to be used the following day to edit/produce your video)

Students will create a video of a cooking demonstration using a recipe of a dish from a Spanish speaking country. They will incorporate informal commands, obligation and their vocabulary in the presentation.

Students will design and create a Christmas Tree ornament which represents an aspect or various aspects of their country.

Create a parody to share with your class. Either individually or with a partner, choose a Christmas Carol or christmas poem to parody. You will want to parody the rhyme scheme and the rhythm. Remember the humor of a parody is based upon the audience's comparison of the original and the imitation, so the audience needs to be familiar with the original. If you work with a partner, both will receive the same score. All project topics must be approved by me.

This project blends the study of Social Studies, Geography, and Language Arts to present Christmas in a given Spanish speaking country around the world. Students will prepare a 2 page double spaced, typed paper as well as a presentation lasting 2-4 minutes.

You have been learning about Dia De Los Muertos in Spanish class. You were asked to create an altar to show the many elements that are typical on an ofrenda.

Create a paper travel brochure that encourages an individual to learn more about that country or travel to that country.

Spanish students have been working on a Day of the Dead ofrenda or shadow box or poster, something to show what they have learned about the Day of the Dead. Crow Language students have been learning about Crow culture and honoring their ancestors.
