Conducting an Experiment
Students are to design an experiment which can be conducted in the classroom about fungi. Projects must include a problem, hypothesis, research, step by step experiment instructions and a method to display data. Students state their conclusion explaining if the experiment supported their hypothesis. Students also discuss what this experiment might lead them to research next. All information must be presented in a PowerPoint.

Speech to Inform-Oral Presentation
Students will research, plan, and compose a speech in which their performance will be evaluated in terms of specific standards set in class, including the clarity and completeness of your speech and the quality of your presentation in explaining your topic matter. Non-verbal communication is highlighted. Students will have 1.5 to 2 minutes to deliver the speech.
