My Reflective Journals
I’ve been in class with Dr. Smirnova now for entire semester and I have enjoyed every second of it. She is a great educator who has a wonderful method of teaching information. She uses a combination of modeling, demonstration and presentation. I really enjoy her strategy of teaching, for I am a hands-on learner and I believe that she meets my needs as a learner by combining all of these strategies in her teaching. Although she teaches using these three strategies, she wants to hear how we feel about them. We give her feedback on what we have learned in the class, how we will apply our new knowledge in our future class rooms, and her strategies as a teacher by means of a journal. She also has us complete these journals to improve our critical thinking skills as a student and as a future educator. I have completed three journals and submitted them for grades.
