As a woman entering my 40's most people wonder why I am beginning a new career at this point in my life.

I have always worked with children. As a teen I couldn't wait to babysit and was always very popular with those I sat for. When I entered the workforce, I found myself really missing chldren and began to volunteer for many organizations that worked with kids.

     Once I became a mother I was able to fully live my dream. I gave everything to my own children while continuing to work with others. As my children entered the school system I found that their teachers, the schools, and my own children began to inspire me to make the jump into becoming a teacher.

     There is nothing more rewarding than working with a child. When helping them to understand something, I love to see that lightbulb turn on and have them look up at you with a smile, because they now understand. That is what it is all about and that has always been what inspires me.
