Outstanding Achievement Award for Excellence in Elementary Mathematics Education - EMU 2009

During the spring of 2009, I had the distinct honor of being granted the "Outstanding Achievement Award for Excellence in Elementary Mathematics Education" by Eastern Michigan University. Pictured below with me at the award ceremony are Dr. Joan Jones and Dr. Carla Tayeh, two professors who served as mentors for me in becoming a teacher. Another professor who also served as a mentor for me in elementary mathematics education is Dr. Barbara Leapard. Without such outstanding leadership, instruction, and support, I would never have received this award. Thank-you!
