I have been involved in Community Service and Volunteer work for as long as I can remember. I volunteered as a nursery worker and assistant preschool teacher at my church for three years. I held the responsibility of looking after babies and teaching preschoolers simple concepts, such as colors, shapes, and numbers.

    I was a children's and youth leader there for the following six years. During that time, I put in at least 10 hours every week of preparation and time spent with the children and youth in small groups and weekly meetings. I was in charge of planning and coordinating many activities, in which I had to plan out every last detail from the staffing to the budget and everything in between.         When I was in high school I was very involved with leadership at my school. I was in charge of many activities throughout my junior and senior years, which included helping to put pep rallies together, organizing food drives (in which we fed over 250 families each year), and putting spirit weeks together.
