Vanessa Lievanos CISB11-Victor Zamora Chapter 1 Assignment #1-Affects My Life Because the internet is the largest and most well-known computer network in the world, within time many people eventually rely on it. The internet in many ways can affect my life, for instance it can affect my education for when a class requires me to conduct research on a certain topic I can easily obtain information by retrieving my research online. It becomes convenient for instead of going to the library, I have the capability to stay home and at the tip of my finger I can get a hold of useful information. Another way the internet affects my education is that it gives me an opportunity to take internet on-line courses without having to step out of my home. I’m even able to register and pay for school on the internet, as well as check my grades or viewing open courses. This relieves me from having to worry about driving to and from school and getting stuck in traffic. The internet can also affect my future career and my life for it’s an open-door to perform many internet tasks. For instance in having access to the internet it allows me to obtain information, retrieve news, listen to music and experience other types of online entertainment. Along with such opportunities it allows me to communicate with others by sending instant messages or emails to contact people without using the phone, which makes it convenient at the point in time. The internet can also make my life easier not only because it’s a great source for information, but if I need to get directions to anywhere I can easily get it online. The internet also allows me to purchase and sell stuff online. In the working world the internet provides business’s with up-to-date information they need to make decisions. All these examples prove how one’s life relies much on the internet. It’s so remarkable that I can even pay my bills online.
