Rubric: Whole New Mind Portfolio 2012
Develop a product that demonstrates your answers to one or more of the essential questions and the senses (Design, Story, Symphony, Empathy, Play, and Meaning) presented in A Whole New Mind. Your product must connect in some meaningful way to the text (WNM) and your goals or career interest (you will choose one that interests you) while also incorporating root-based words. Use the rubric below to help you set it up/understand. Your project must demonstrate a & b PLUS c OR d below. a) an understanding of what Pink means by that sense in your own words (paraphrasing the text) b) evidence that you worked to develop that sense in yourself (exercises, readings, viewings and documentation) c) explanation of how that sense will help you to achieve your goals (short, medium, or long term) OR d) Choose a career in which you have an interest and show how each of those senses helps someone to be successful in that particular career
