Wow, what an experience this class has been.  It has exposed me to a large variety of technology that I never had used before.  I was able to connect nursing and education together.  I also was able to see how I could use technology to support my goals as being a nursing leader.

            A theme that describes my ePortfolio is growth through new experiences. At the beginning of this class I was not familiar with either a wiki or a blog. I also struggled in connecting my nursing background to a graduate level education class in our weekly discussions.

            I learned something with each of these experiences. In the wiki I was able to work with classmates over the computer. Previously my only group work had been in person, so I was challenged as to how to make it work via communicating over the internet each individuals responsibilities. My experience with blogging had a difficult. I was unsure what I should be writing and in what manner. The weekly discussion exposed me to a variety of readings about education that I was unfamiliar with. As the weeks progressed I was able to make connections between my experience as a nurse and the connections between it and education.
