About Me

This is the on(line)ffice for paula roush, artist and lecturer of digital media in the Arts, Media and English department at the London Southbank University.

I joined the AME Digital Photography course in August 2006, as senior lecturer. Since 2006, I am also the module coordinator for Thinking Practices: Critical Dialogues in Art and Media in the MA Art and Media Practice, department of Media, Art & Design at the University of Westminster, London. Previously I lectured in Art in Community Settings at the Birkbeck College (Arts Management Course) and worked with art and media organisations as artist and curator in a range of participatory performative art projects. Funding sources have included Arts council England, Gulbenkian Foundation UK, and Space Media Arts. Current interests include the areas of social media art research, and free networked models for publishing and distributing of art and media work.
Current academic projects include the LSBU funded teaching and learning innovation scheme on social media in learning. Artistically, I am working on the book browser landscapes and the installation soundtrack for a cctv to be presented as part of the Voyeur Project Vew in December 2007.
