About Me

Tiffany Hue

I'm the youngest of five children and grew up in Chauvin, LA.  I'm almost 10 years younger than my sister right before, so I was spoiled to say the least.  I wouldn't say that I was a spoiled BRAT though my siblings might disagree.

Both of my parents have always emphasized the importance of education.  My parents' schooling only went to the 8th grade.  I'm proud to say that my mother is currently working to earn her GED.  My dad has worked on boats most of his life and was able to advance all the way to tugboat captain.  He has also written and recorded several songs and played guitar and sang for Southern Fancy and LA 56.

I guess my love of music comes from him though we don't have the same taste in music.  I played clarinet through high school.  Some of my best high school memories deal with band experiences, and I always encourage my students to stick with it.

I graduated from South Terrebonne High School in 1997.    GO BIG GREEN!

My husband and I just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary in June.  We are currently in the process of building our home.  And I do mean building - literally ... nail guns, pulling wires, big heavy lumber.  OK.  I admit that I mostly supervise, but that's only because he won't let me near the power tools. ha ha

We have two beautiful chocolate labs, Zoe and Dixie.  Zoe is 6 1/2 years old.  I bought her for my husband 6 months after our wedding.  Dixie is her daugther and just made 3 years old.  Those two hams are so alike it is frightening.
