About Dr. Denise Mari
Denise Marie Mari, Ph.D., also known as Dr. Mari, is the founder and director of the non-profit House of Hope International wellbeing resources and retreat org. She is a metro New York area health professional, Adjunct Professor online, college and church conference presenter, plus leadership consultant who has been an interview guest on almost two dozen radio and T.V. shows. Dr. Mari received her undergraduate degree at NYU in 1982. In 1984 she obtained her M.A. degree from Fordham University, and in 1991 also completed her Doctor of Philosophy there. Denise Mari has been on the staff of Roosevelt Hospital, the Fordham University Counseling Center, NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, and the Terrence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center. She is not only the author of the Psychological Wholeness Series and the Emotional Wellbeing Series but also principal author of the House Of Hope International Cookbook published with Lynn Marie Knapke and chef Aaron Shaun Brennan. As Doctor Mari did with her writing of the Psychological Wholeness Series, her Cookbook writing was also meant as a fundraiser for the programs of the charitable House of Hope Int'l organization in New York. For those interested in trying just a couple of the guesthouse recipes, Great Excerpts From The House Of Hope Int'l Cookbook is now available as a cookbook app and eBook. The secret ingredient is love :)
