I have volunteered on  numerous occasions for work in the community with my nursing education. 

The following is a list of some of the activities I participated in.

• Expanding Your Horizons Workshop: Motivating young women in science and mathematics. 
• Rutherford County Health Department Home Visit Program: providing prenatal counseling to culturally diverse families.
• Influenza Clinic: administering flu shots at MTSU.
• American Red Cross: participating in Red Cross Blood Drive at MTSU.
• Pregnancy Support Group: volunteering time at this local facility to counsel young women.
• Guest Speaker at Cedar Grove Elementary School: Information about Nursing and Healthy Choices
