Walk The Talk

Equatorial Guinea
Equatorial Guinea is a small tropical country located on the west coast of Africa. It's population is less than 350,000 and the majority of it's people live in poverty.
Currently, in rural villages, there are no public libraries ,the education system is very poor, and because there are very few job opportunies many children suffer from neglect from parents who must long hours.
Mothers must often leave their homes at sunrise to walk 2-3 hours to the market to sell their meager goods. It is late in the evening before they return to their children to give them their first meal of the day. The meal might consist of a bowl of rice or a plate of boiled plaintains. Although plentiful, a meal like this one doesn not provide the nutrition a growing child needs to become a productive citizen of the community.
