The Women's Formula-Society of Automotive Engineers (WFSAE) Team at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) is a non-profit organization, which allows women engineers to gain experience in applying the theory learned in classrooms to actual problems by building a Formula style race car, and participating in the Formula SAE competitions. Being part of this team not only offers technical experience, but also experience in professional presentations, marketing, project management, and working in a team. Through this team, women engineers can gain confidence and experience that is necessary for today's competitive job market.
