4th Grade Social Studies Project 5th Grade Social Studies Project Students will research information on the State of New Jersey and the regions and prepare two visual projects. Content	Consistent Understanding The poster includes all information relevant to the topic in an organized fashion.	Good Understanding Poster includes a little information; information is organized.	Understands the basics Does not have all of the information of the poster. Information is disorganized.	Limited Understanding The poster is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented.
Work quality	Consistent Understanding The work done exceeds all expectations. The effort put into this task is the best it can be by the learner. Little or no spelling/grammar errors.	Good Understanding Work is done with good effort that shows the capability of the learner. It is evident that time was put into this project.<BR> Little spelling errors.	Understands the basics Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed or not given appropriate time and attention. Visual Appeal	Consistent Understanding The display board has an element of creativity and style. Pictures are included to enhance content presented.
