Rural/Urban Community Diorama - Grade 3 Science Diorama and Research - Grade 1 First grade has been learning about many different Caymanian plants. We have been learning what plants are good for food, which ones are medicinal and which ones to completely avoid. Our project now, is to build a diorama using plants, leaves, barks, seeds (anything found on a tree) that is found in the Cayman Islands. Teacher can tell that a minimal effort was used in creating the items.	level 3 Diarama has 3 to 5 items to represent the type of community. The community is identifiable. Teacher can tell that a good effort went in to creating the items.	level 4 Diarama has more than 5 items to represent the type of community. The commuunity is clearly identifiable. Teacher can tell that a lot of work went into creating the items.
Creativity	level 1 No effort appears to have been put into creating the diarama. There seems to have been no thought or imagination.	level 2 Very little effort appears to have been put into creating the diarama. There seems to have been little thought or imagination.	level 3 A great deal of effort has been put into creating the diarama. You thought about what you wanted to present, you used your imagination.	level 4 A lot of effort has been put into creating the diarama.
