Animal Report Animal Report Students are selecting an animal, researching and writing about their animal, and designing a poster cube to aid them in their oral presentation. The presentation should tell about where their animal lives, what their animal eats, what their animal looks like, and any predators that their animals may have. Students should focus on their animal's speed and motion in order to do comparison's between their animal and animals their classmates are reporting on. The Animal's Appearance 25 %	Does Not Meet Description of animal is inaccurate or does not give any important details. Drawing has no details.	Meets Gives a description of animal but leaves out a couple of important features. Picture is present but not labeled. Drawing has some characteristics of a farm animal.	Exceeds Gives an accurate description of how the animal looks including any type of camouflage or physical adaptations, and has a detailed picture with important parts labeled. Drawing has all the characteristics and added details of farm animal and environment.
The Animal's Diet 25 %	Does Not Meet Does not list any items that the animal eats. Drawing does not show any details of animal diet.	Meets Lists one item that the animal eats. Drawing has some details of the animal's diet.	Exceeds Lists two or more items that the animal eats, and includes pictures on the poster. Drawing has intricate details of animal and its diet.
The Animal's Habitat 25 %	Does Not Meet Gives little or no details about where the animal is found and includes very few facts about the animals habitat. Drawing does not show any details of the animals habitat.	Meets Gives some details about where the animal is found in the world,but only includes some facts about the animals habitat.
