COLLABORATION RUBRIC for GROUP PROJECTS COLLABORATION RUBRIC for GROUP PROJECTS The students will be graded on their collaborative skills within the group. Each member has an assigned role and task to work on and bring into the group as a whole. Quality of Work 5 pts	Outstanding Provides the highest of quality of work and followed all teacher directions	Excellent Provides high quality of work and followed most teacher directions	Good Provides work that occasionally needs to be checked/or redone by others in the group. The student followed some of teacher directions.	Fair Provides work that usually needs to be checked/or redone by others in group. The student needs improvement in following teacher directions	Poor Does very little to deserve attention. The student did not follow teacher directions at all.
Attitude 5 pts	Outstanding Never is publicly critical of the project or the work of others. Always has a positive attitude about the task(s)	Excellent Rarely is publicly critical of the project or the work of others. Often has a positive attitude about the task(s)	Good Occasionally is publicly critical of the project or the work of other members of the group. Usually has a positive attitude about the task(s)	Fair Often is publicly critical of the project or the work of other members of the group. Often has a negative attitude about the task(s)	Poor Has no opinion or attitude about anything
Focus on the Task 5 pts	Outstanding Consistently stays focused on the task and what needs to be done. Very self-directed	Excellent Focuses on the task and what needs to be done most of the time. Other group members can count on this person	Good Focuses on the task and what needs to be does some of the time. Other group members must sometimes nag, prod, and remind to keep this person on-task	Fair Rarely focuses on the task and what needs to be done. Working with Others 5 pts	Outstanding Almost always listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others. Tries to keep people working well together	Excellent Usually listens to, shares with and supports the efforts of others.
