Artist uses techniqes of color-mixing to achieve a rich range of color that represent the colors of the still-life objects. Artist also uses color theory to create a sense of volume in the painting.
Good

Artist meets requirements of 3.2 and experiments with color exaggeration to create a greater sense of texture, depth and volume in the paintng.
Advanced

Artist meets requirements of 3.5 and lso uses color as a form of personal creative expression in the painting.
Texture/Painting Style

Poor

Artist does not work neatly and carefully - work is sloppy and has bare spots. Artist does not attempt or makes a weak attempt at using at least two different styles of painting - (smooth blending and short, visible brush-strokes) to represent the different textures found in the still-life.
Fair

Artist completes his/her painting neatly and carefully -using at least two styles of painting (smooth blending and short, visible brush-strokes) to represent the different textures found in the still-life.
Good

Artist meets requirements of 3.2 and demostrates great proficiency in both styles of painting.
Advanced

Artist meets requirements of 3.5 and experiments with more than two painting styles (small dots of pointalism for example) to both represent the various textures - and - to add a higher level of personal creativity.
