Content 25 pts	Excellent All required number of slides included with sufficient information.	Good All required slides with relevant information.<BR> Topic is somewhat discussed but more information is required.	Fair Presentation only has 2-3 slides. Topic is slightly discussed but more material is needed.	Poor Many slides missing or less slides OR slides do not contain relevant information. Topic is addressed but not discussed or elaborated on. There is no reference page.
Presentation/Graphics 25 pts	Excellent Slides are attractive. Text is easy to read. Each slide contains at least two graphics and effects that are used throughout to enhance presentation.	Good Slides are attractive. Text is easy to read. Most slides use at least two graphics and effects to enhance presentation.	Fair Slides are easy to read. Amount of text is too great for the amount of space provided. Less than half the slides have at least two graphics or effects.	Poor The slides are not easy to read. The amount of text is too great for the space provided. There is little use of graphics or effects.
Grammar and Mechanics 20 pts	Excellent Capitalization and punctuation are correct throughout the presentation. There are no grammatical errors.	Good There are less than 2 grammatical errors on the presentation.	Fair There are less than 4 grammatical errors on the presentation.	Poor There are many grammar or mechanical errors on the presentation.
Use of Class Time 10 pts	Excellent Used time well during the class period. Focused on getting the project done. Never distracted others.	Good Used time well during the class period. Usually focused on getting the project done and never distracted others.	Fair Used some of the class time well during the class period. There was some focus on getting the project done but occasionally distracted others.	Poor Did not use class time to focus on project OR distracted others. Reminders were given.
Understanding of Scientific Topics 20 pts	Excellent Student had a solid understanding of their topic and was able to fully expand on their ideas.	Good Student has an acceptable understanding of their topic and able to expand on some ideas.	Fair Student has some understanding of their topic but was only able to expand on a few ideas.	Poor Student has little understanding of their topic and was not able to expand on their ideas.
