Social Studies 7-2 Poster rubric Poster and presentation rubric The students will work to put together a poster for display and presentation. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the Patriot/Loyalist movements of the American Revolutionary war. Students will provide information on their chosen topic in a creative and colorful poster. The poster will be designed on 9 X 12 manila tag. Focus on Topic Content Knowledge	Excellent Work The poster includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise.	Good Work Poster includes all relevant information; however, it is not well-organized or easily understood.	Fair Does not have all of the relevant information. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion and may be hard to understand.	Needs improvement The poster is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented and facts presented are inaccurate. Confusing.
Work quality/effort	Excellent Work The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the group is proud of their work. Includes 4 NEAT illustrations or color pictures. Text is clear, neat and straight	Good Work The work was done with good effort that shows what the group is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster. Includes 3 NEAT illustrations or color pictures.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what group is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed. Includes 2 NEAT illustrations or pictures.	Needs improvement Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the group is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete. Includes 0 - 1 illustrations or pictures.
Creativity	Excellent Work Eye catching. Great use of colors, texture, shapes, and spacing on poster. Creativity is shown to in every area on the poster. Writing is easy to read.	Good Work Contains groups own ideas. Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows group spent time creating an artistic piece.	Fair Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of color/shapes/design. Most of the drawings/writing is group's own ideas.	Needs improvement Lacks original creativity. Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks color, texture.
